The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is designed to cover current and relevant disciplines in the field of mechanical engineering along with additional specialization subjects in the field of mechanical engineering. The curriculum of the program developed is to produce holistic graduates. A balanced emphasis is given to the theoretical and practical aspects. The latest learning methods including blended learning are also carried out. Core courses offered include Engineering Mechanics, Electrical Technology, Engineering Drawing, Mechanical Workshop Practice, Workshop Technology, Computer Aided Design, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength Of Materials, Pneumatic & Hydraulics, Project, Maintenance Engineering & Management, Material Science, Mechanic Of Machines, Engineering Design and Mechanical Components & Maintenance. Elective courses are Computer Aided Design 2, Control System, Instrumentation & Control, Engineering Plant Technology, Quality Control, C programming, Programmable Logic Control, Industrial Management, Diagnose & Troubleshooting for Mechanical Component, Islamic Civilization, Malaysian Integration and Computer Application. General core courses include Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Science, Occupational Safety & Health and Entrepreneurship. Compulsory courses offered include Malaysian Studies, Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Malaysian Community Values, Science Technology and Engineering in Islam and Co-Curriculum will provide students with interpersonal skills, attitudes and professionalism towards their career advancement.
